In my almost 30-year career, I have been involved in many of the aspects of running and governing organizations. I was President of CFA Society Netherlands; worked in the investment management department of a public pension fund; was a co-founder of a EUR 3 bln private equity fund of funds business; ran a EUR 50 bln supervised investment management company managing publicly traded equity and fixed income funds; have been Chairman of several alternative investment funds; founded a coaching business focusing initially on life coaching and executive coaching, and more recently on mental coaching for elite athletes; have been General Secretary of the European Racquetball Federation; and am Board Member, Secretary and Mental Coach of the most succesful epee fencing club in the Netherlands.
